I founded Missions that Matter to help leaders and organisations craft missions worth believing in — and to practise them with care, courage, and authenticity.
I began my career on the ground in logistics — first as a driver, then as a transport manager, marketing manager, and business planner. Those experiences taught me what it really takes to make organisations work day to day. Alongside them, I have pursued world-class scholarship, bringing moral philosophy and futures thinking into dialogue with real leadership practice.
As an Ashridge-certified coach, I now work with CEOs, leadership teams, and change agents to navigate the moral and strategic challenges of our time. My approach is grounded in practice: everything I write and teach, including my book Leadership as Masterpiece Creation and my doctoral research, comes from action research alongside leaders in the field.
Through my Thinking page, long-form reflections on LinkedIn, and my collaboration with William Watkin on Infinite Existence, I continue to explore what it means to lead and practise authentically in a changing world.
At the heart of it all is a simple conviction: business can — and should — be morally admirable.
